Asian Potions Sdn Bhd Founder, Rozie Mastor received the McMillan Woods Global Rising Star – Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award
December 2013 : Anticipation was running high among the award recipients of one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in Malaysia as they waited to be presented with their respective awards before a crowd of more than 500 at Shangri-la Hotel, recently.
The McMillan Woods Global Awards 2013/14 entered into its second installation after it had managed to garner international and widespread media attention towards its award ceremony last year that even in its inaugural launch, had displayed an impressive line-up of winners being conferred of awards in multiple noteworthy categories.
This year, McMillan Woods had selected some of the most outstanding business achievers in Malaysia, and around the region, who were seen leading the frontline in the business arena throughout 2012, despite the circumstances of the economy experiencing a slow recovery from the global financial turmoil.
This year, the Awards Categories have been confined to only three major classes comprising of the Personality Class, Master Class and the Rising Star Category. Asian Potions Sdn Bhd founder, Rozie Mastor, received the Rising Star -Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented to her by Ms. Georgina Rinehart from Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd Australia. Ms. Gina Rinehart is known as one of the most influential women in the world. Rozie Mastor was amongst one of the handful of women that received awards in the male dominated awards ceremony. Other women recipients for the night were Lisa Mihardja of Alliera Batik, Indonesia (MasterClass – Woman Entrepreneur of the Year), Crystal Lee (Rising Star – Young Achiever Artiste of the Year) and Angel Wong, Hong Kong (Rising Star-Outstanding Achiever Artiste of the Year).

T he prestigious ceremony headed to start with the arrival of VIP’s whose entrance to the grand Shangri-la ballroom was accompanied by the rambunctious sounds from the drum performance on stage. Seen also were special guests whose organisations have been recognised widely for their massive contributions towards their respective industries and their excellent services abroad, to witness the function.
